Based in Bristol, UK

Liam is known for blending raw, organic instrumentation with detailed, emotionally resonant production. With over 20 years of experience as a performer and recording artist, his work spans film, theatre, classical performance, and collaborative songwriting across folk, jazz, rock and experimental genres.

Recently graduated from an MA in Composition for Film & TV at the University of Bristol with a Distinction, He specialises in composing music for screen that blends acoustic textures with resampled natural sounds. Creating detailed production, always led by story, mood, and a deep melodic instinct.

As a composer for the concert hall, Liam has written orchestral and chamber works performed by ensembles such as the Bristol Classical Players, Avon Concordia, the Middle Aisle Ensemble, Troyka Mala, and the Purnambuco String Quartet. His pieces have been workshopped by the Bristol Ensemble and recognised with the J.H. Britton Prize for Composition (2024).
